Environmental Policy

Environmental Policy

At Bampfield our Organic methods of farming provides a haven for all forms of wildlife in particular birds, insects and flowers.

We are involved in a Countryside Stewardship scheme which has increased the biodiversity of the wildlife on Bampfield. For example, we leave crop margins of wild flowers and we trim the hedges bi-annually.

Our aim is to protect and preserve what we have for the future of our guests and the community around us.

On our Organic farm we aim to sustainably cultivate the land to the best of our abilities. Thus minimising the damage to the environment.

The policy is regularly monitored and reviewed, all staff are kept up to date with changes, this is the responsibility of the manager along with the promotion and implementation of all policies.
